Abstract

The present work arose from the need to deepen the questions about multiparenthood in the legal field, especially in the field of inheritance law, under the light of jurisprudential understanding. The problem found in this study is aimed at addressing the impacts arising from multiparenting, therefore, the objective is to answer what are the legal effects and reflections of multiparenting in the context of succession. For the development of this work, bibliographical researches were carried out, making it possible to raise knowledge about multiparenting, exploratory research was also used, which was essential for a greater understanding of the subject, and qualitative research, aimed at analyzing concepts, covering as much as possible. possible information, which contributed to the conclusion of the work. At the end of the study, it is verified that, in the context of multiparenthood, the succession of descendants occurs in a positive way in the legislation. However, in relation to the succession of ascendants, it occurs in a peculiar way, being defined by the doctrine and jurisprudence, considering the existing lines or trunks, according to the specific case.
