Abstract

In recent years, there has been a drastic change in family relationships, which due to the entry of women into the labor market, playing the role of family providers, directly reflected in the obligations imposed on parents and in the new types of guardianship. The study in que stion will address the possibility of both parents being co-responsible for the creation and effective participation in their children's lives, demonstrating the purpose and legal nature of shared custody and its psychological aspects. The research hypotheses were investigated based on the bibliographical research through the studies in the doctrine. As for the approach, it is evidenced as qualitative, therefore, a greater depth and understanding of human actions and relationships is sought. With regard to the purposes, it is the analytical-deductive method, which describes, records and analyzes legal facts, intending to define and seek new information on the topic addressed.
